- We have been in London for a little over Two weeks now. I have fallen in Love with this place. Our first week was full of lots of learning. We were tossed into this huge city with expectations of finding our own way around. We had to learn the bus and tube system which I am proud to say after two weeks and being lost for a few hours we have finally got it down pack. Our first weekend here. Lane and I woke up early and walked around the city. We started at Hyde park, on Sundays they have tons and tons of paintings and art work along the side walk for sale its pretty kool. Inside the park there are tons of monuments to see ect. On Sundays they also have a thing called Speakers Corner were people of all sorts go to rant and rave about what ever is on their mind. Lane and I talked to a guy who was talking about how American clothes are cheap and we buy everything from China, another said he was from outer space (a little crazy in the head), some had more important views like about the War and such. It was pretty kool to listen to people and argue about stuff. My favorite thing that we are doing as a group is on Monday nights we have attended plays. We have been to the Blood Brothers and Rent both of which were absolutely amazing. Last night we had the task of making a British dinner (an assignment for one of our classes) it was called toad in the hole. Our flat got last place Wahoo! We had to shop at the Church Street market and they only had lamb meat.. it was pretty nasty. Well thats a few random things we have been up to I will upddate again soon
